dangerouslilly:

Sex toys shouldn’t make you bleed.

Yet numerous people report bleeding with the Lelo Sona or Sona Cruise! I checked Twitter and Reddit and found 6 others, plus myself. It’s easy to see why this is happening – there’s a distance of only 7.8mm from the outer edge of the nozzle to the moving motor bit inside. That’s the length of my pinky finger from fingertip to the bottom of my nail bed. Neither the smallest Womanizer nor the smallest Satisfyer has this problem; there is abundant room between the edge and the motor.

And that’s not the only problem!

It’s loud.

It’s (a little too) intense – good for some but I need to build up on these toys.

It’s awkward (and sometimes painful) to hold.

There’s only a 1-year warranty vs 2 years from Womanizer.

The round nozzle is incredibly small, much smaller than other brands. It won’t work for larger clits but shouldn’t be used by ANY clits, in my opinions.

IT HAS PATTERNS. NO. Entering into patterns on a pressure air sex toy, one that is already intense, is akin to that burst of pain you feel when you consume a hot or cold liquid and you have dental pain. That sharp, wrong-feeling, nerve-zapping makeitstoppppp feeling is what I felt any time I accidentally went into patterns.

Like the ill-fated SenseTouch of the Lelo Smart Wands, “Cruise Control” is some bullshit. It works randomly and strangely, not at all like it’s supposed to. I could tell you to just get the regular Sona instead, but I won’t. I don’t want you getting ANY Lelo Sona. Literally any other Womanizer or Satisfyer will do.

I hate Lelo and will continue to hate them, but so many people asked about this in comparison to the Womanizer and Satisfyer models. There’s more info about this on the full review, including video to hear what the motor sounds like, so check that out!
